Product Description:
The ETA3.BRD is a microprocessor based 3 phase precision current transducer (on PC board) that performs true RMS current measurements in one 3-phase circuit or in three independent AC circuits. The unit supports standard current transformers (5A or 1A) but it also utilizes a variety of inexpensive current transformers which provide safe mV signal (no shunts necessary) . These sensors include split core CTs and small current rings that may be applied to the secondary wires of the existing 5 A CTs. The ETA3.BRD-U version of this board accepts standard voltage input CTs that produce 0.333 V or 1 V AC signal. The ETA3.BRD measures true RMS current in each of the three inputs. The three analog outputs (V1, V2 and V3) provide DC voltage proportional to the RMS current in the corresponding input while the fourth output (V4) is proportional to the averaged current {Iavg= (I1+I2+I3)/3}. Standard output voltage is 0-5 VDC. The ETA3.BRD is designed as an OEM component for the HVAC market. It is powered by 24 VAC and mounts in 2.75" wide vinyl snap-track (provided). Quality angular connectors allow fort fast installation and testing. |
