What is Web HMI ? |
WebHMI is a free software mechanism coming with some ICP DAS’s PAC (Programmable Automation Controller). WebHMI offers you to monitor and control the local or remote controller via the Internet Explorer running on your PC.

Software ? |
To run Web HMI on the PC :
No extra software charge to run Web HMI if your PC has Microsoft Internet Explorer installed (ver. 6 or later).
To edit Web HMI page :
The Web HMI pages are standard HTML files which can be created by “Microsoft FrontPages” or “Macromedia Dreamweaver” or other web page editors.

What Web HMI can do ? |
Monitoring and control on the local network
Many automation application need HMI to view the automation process or need HMI to enter the process parameter to controllers. Web HMI is a free and good choice to do this job on your local network.

Monitoring and control on the Internet |
Image that you are faraway from your application field, you can still monitor your application and give instruction to the controller on the Internet. ICP DAS’s Web HMI has embedded three level password protection to prevent hacker’s attack.

Priority page and multi-page |
ICP DAS’s Web HMI supports multi-page switching. It supports up to 100 HTML pages depends on which controller model is used. Each page has a priority setting, it can be low, middle or high. Only higher level user can get accessed to higher priority pages.

Download data file |
Some application may record history data or analog data or others. The ICP DAS Web HMI can be used for download these data file from the controller to your PC via local network or Internet.

Three level password protection |
User may enable or disable the password protection. If enabled, there are three level password low, middle and high can be set. Only the user with correct username and password can get accessed to the Web HMI.

Web HMI data format |
The data in the controller can be open for Web HMI to Read and write. The following data format are available.
Boolean: ON / OFF
Word: -32768 to +32767
Long: -2,147,483,648 ~ + 2,147,483,647
Float: 32-bit float, for example, 1.23, 2.56E-12
String: for example, “Hello” , “Alarm happens !”
Trend curve
The Web HMI can be used for displaying trend curve.
