Drawbacks of traditional thermocouples, such as slow response times, mechanical wear, vibratory failure and system inaccuracy, are instantly overcome by switching to infrared pyrometers. The PyroNFC-K makes it easier than ever to make that switch.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The sensor measures temperature by detecting the infrared radiation emitted by a surface, and transmits it within a fraction of a second as a simulated thermocouple output. The response time is extremely fast at just 0.125 seconds. It can also be configured easily via a free Android app for NFC-enabled smartphones (search Google Play for \u201cPyroNFC\u201d). While the phone is held against the sensor, the measured temperature is displayed live.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An open drain alarm output is also included as standard.
