Es un dispositivo\u00a0 EEPROM integrado en el sensor o en el conector del sensor que contiene informaci\u00f3n de calibraci\u00f3n, como el n\u00famero de serie, las fechas de calibraci\u00f3n y otros factores de calibraci\u00f3n. TEDS se introdujo como <strong>IEEE P1451.4<\/strong> en 1997 y estableci\u00f3 el concepto de &#8220;transductores inteligentes&#8221;. Estos chips almacenan datos de calibraci\u00f3n importantes que facilitan las comunicaciones entre los sensores y sus instrumentos, lo que reduce en gran medida el trabajo de calibraci\u00f3n y configuraci\u00f3n que debe realizar el usuario. Es una tecnolog\u00eda conveniente que permite a los usuarios evitar el tedioso proceso de calibrar un sensor con un instrumentof. Esto evita posibles confusiones, ahorra tiempo y energ\u00eda y hace que el sensor sea una verdadera experiencia &#8220;<strong>plug and play<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<h2>VENTAJAS DE UN SISTEMA CON TEDS<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>TEDS agiliza la configuraci\u00f3n de un sensor con un instrumento al permitirle pasar por alto los complicados pasos de calibraci\u00f3n. Alternativamente, el chip est\u00e1 incrustado dentro del cuerpo del sensor.<\/p>\n<h3>INSTRUMENTOS<\/h3>\n<p align=\"justify\">Las pantallas FUTEK como la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebay.com\/itm\/254986318731\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>IPM650<\/strong><\/span><\/a> (pantalla de montaje en panel inteligente) y la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebay.com\/itm\/254986303888\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>IHH500<\/strong><\/span><\/a> (pantalla de mano inteligente) est\u00e1n equipadas con TEDS durante la fabricaci\u00f3n, por lo que no es necesario realizar modificaciones. IPM650 e IHH500 pueden leer datos de TEDS al inicio o carg\u00e1ndolos a trav\u00e9s del men\u00fa.
