{"id":43929,"date":"2024-09-03T09:56:58","date_gmt":"2024-09-03T15:56:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/?p=43929"},"modified":"2026-02-03T11:13:10","modified_gmt":"2026-02-03T17:13:10","slug":"hmi-con-plc-controllino-mediante-rtu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/hmi-con-plc-controllino-mediante-rtu\/","title":{"rendered":"HMI con PLC Controllino mediante RTU"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>En un entorno donde el monitoreo y control de los procesos se vuelve crucial y donde existen las necesidades de crear la visualizaci\u00f3n de estos para una mayor facilidad en los operadores, los dispositivos de interfaz Humano-M\u00e1quina (<a href=\"https:\/\/tienda.logicbus.com.mx\/automatizacion-y-control-de-procesos-pantallas-hmi\">HMI<\/a>) son de gran ayuda en las operaciones diarias, y con la opci\u00f3n de conectarse a distintos equipos de control como PLCs usando los puertos disponibles y\/o mediante alg\u00fan protocolo de comunicaci\u00f3n. Los PLCs de Controllino en sus modelos <a href=\"https:\/\/tienda.logicbus.com.mx\/automatizacion-y-control-de-procesos-plc-controllino-100-100-00\">MAXI<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/tienda.logicbus.com.mx\/automatizacion-y-control-de-procesos-plc-controllino-100-200-00\">MEGA<\/a> ofrecen la ventaja de poder ser conectados con paneles <a href=\"https:\/\/tienda.logicbus.com.mx\/automatizacion-y-control-de-procesos-pantallas-hmi\">HMI<\/a> usando el protocolo Modbus ya sea a trav\u00e9s de su puerto Ethernet (TCP\/IP) o con el puerto RS485 (interfaz SN65HVD08) integrado en ellos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-43933 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/CONTROLLINO-1-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"610\" height=\"344\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/CONTROLLINO-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/CONTROLLINO-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/CONTROLLINO-1-150x84.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/CONTROLLINO-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/CONTROLLINO-1.jpg 1192w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En un <u>blog+anterior<\/u> (<strong>Poner liga de blog HMI con PLC Controllino mediante TCP\/IP, aun no tiene liga, solo se pone formato de color y subrayado<\/strong>) se mostraron los pasos para comunicar el PLC de Controllino con el HMI usando el protocolo TCP\/IP, ahora en este blog les explicaremos c\u00f3mo conectar el PLC de Controllino con el <a href=\"https:\/\/tienda.logicbus.com.mx\/automatizacion-y-control-de-procesos-pantallas-hmi\">HMI<\/a> usando Modbus TCP\/IP (Nota: se debe seleccionar la librer\u00eda correcta buscando en la direcci\u00f3n del men\u00fa de Arduino IDE Tools-&gt;Board-&gt;Controllino MINI\/MAXI\/MEGA, si no encuentra el archivo deseado puede usar la esta+liga para descargarlo, ya que la necesita antes de cargar el c\u00f3digo al PLC).<\/p>\n<p>En este caso lo que va a necesitar para la configuraci\u00f3n es: 1 equipo PLC de Controllino <a href=\"https:\/\/tienda.logicbus.com.mx\/automatizacion-y-control-de-procesos-plc-controllino-100-100-00\">MAXI<\/a> \u00f3 <a href=\"https:\/\/tienda.logicbus.com.mx\/automatizacion-y-control-de-procesos-plc-controllino-100-200-00\">MEGA<\/a>, una fuente de alimentaci\u00f3n de 12\/24 VCD (la cual deber\u00e1 configurar para que el voltaje que reciban los PLC no exceda los 5 Volts, o se corre el riesgo de da\u00f1ar permanentemente los equipos), el panel <a href=\"https:\/\/tienda.logicbus.com.mx\/automatizacion-y-control-de-procesos-pantallas-hmi\">HMI<\/a> que desea controlar y adaptador macho para puerto serial de 3 hilos (revisar en el manual del panel la asignaci\u00f3n de pines para conectar usando RS485 al PLC de Controllino, puede ver el diagrama de conexi\u00f3n con los pines asignados para <a href=\"https:\/\/tienda.logicbus.com.mx\/automatizacion-y-control-de-procesos-plc-controllino-100-100-00\">MAXI<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/tienda.logicbus.com.mx\/automatizacion-y-control-de-procesos-plc-controllino-100-200-00\">MEGA<\/a> dando click en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.controllino.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/CONTROLLINO_MAXI_Pinout_Table.pdf\">este enlace<\/a> y en este <a href=\"https:\/\/www.controllino.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/CONTROLLINO_MEGA_Pinout_Table.pdf\">otro enlace<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Paso 1: Configuraci\u00f3n del <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tienda.logicbus.com.mx\/automatizacion-y-control-de-procesos-pantallas-hmi\"><strong>HMI<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n<p>Primeramente se hace la configuraci\u00f3n para el <a href=\"https:\/\/tienda.logicbus.com.mx\/automatizacion-y-control-de-procesos-pantallas-hmi\">HMI<\/a> desde el software designado de acuerdo con la marca y\/o compatibilidad de productos, preferentemente implementa uno que cuente con las versiones y drivers m\u00e1s actuales. Dentro del mismo, vamos a crear los tags anal\u00f3gicos R0, D0, D1 y A0, realizando la configuraci\u00f3n mostrada en la imagen debajo:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-43931 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Configuracion-del-HMI-300x196.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"533\" height=\"348\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Configuracion-del-HMI-300x196.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Configuracion-del-HMI-150x98.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Configuracion-del-HMI.jpg 764w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 533px) 100vw, 533px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En los tags puede ver que para RTU los nodos empiezan con \u201c5:\u201d, esto se debe a que el PLC de Controllino tiene como id de unidad ese n\u00famero para realizar la funci\u00f3n como esclavo Modbus. Esto no es obligatorio y siempre puede cambiar este valor dentro del c\u00f3digo que va a cargar en el dispositivo.<\/p>\n<p>Una vez que hayamos creado los tags con las direcciones para Modbus RTU vamos a crear el dispositivo I\/O Modbus para que se conecta al PLC de Controllino <a href=\"https:\/\/tienda.logicbus.com.mx\/automatizacion-y-control-de-procesos-plc-controllino-100-100-00\">MAXI<\/a> \u00f3 <a href=\"https:\/\/tienda.logicbus.com.mx\/automatizacion-y-control-de-procesos-plc-controllino-100-200-00\">MEGA<\/a>, en la opci\u00f3n de su software para dispositivos I\/O vamos a crear uno nuevo, despu\u00e9s definimos que sea de tipo Serial, luego definimos la estaci\u00f3n como \u201c0\u201d (en caso de requerirlo) y por \u00faltimo establecemos el puerto serial que tenga definido como RS485 (debe revisar en el software que usa cu\u00e1l puerto tiene este par\u00e1metro).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-43932 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Configuracion-del-HMI-2-300x165.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"533\" height=\"293\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Configuracion-del-HMI-2-300x165.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Configuracion-del-HMI-2-1024x563.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Configuracion-del-HMI-2-150x82.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Configuracion-del-HMI-2-768x422.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.logicbus.com.mx\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Configuracion-del-HMI-2.jpg 1028w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 533px) 100vw, 533px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Paso 2: Usar ModbusRTU<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Para lograr la conexi\u00f3n necesitamos utilizar el siguiente c\u00f3digo, recordando el n\u00famero de estaci\u00f3n asignado al PLC Modbus esclavo y subirlo al dispositivo:<\/p>\n<p>#include &lt;Controllino.h&gt; \/* Usage of the CONTROLLINO library allows you to use CONTROLLINO_xx aliases in your sketch. *\/<\/p>\n<p>#include &#8220;ModbusRtu.h&#8221; \/* Usage of ModBusRtu library allows you to implement the Modbus RTU protocol in your sketch. *\/<\/p>\n<p>\/*<\/p>\n<p>CONTROLLINO &#8211; Modbus RTU protocol Slave example for MAXI and MEGA, Version 01.00<\/p>\n<p>The sketch is relevant only for CONTROLLINO variants MAXI and MEGA (because of the necessity of the RS485 interface)!<\/p>\n<p>This sketch is intended as an example of the communication between devices via RS485 with utilization the<\/p>\n<p>ModbusRTU protocol.<\/p>\n<p>In this example the CONTROLLINO is used as the Modbus slave!<\/p>\n<p>For more information about the Modbus protocol visit the website: https:\/\/modbus.org\/<\/p>\n<p>Modbus master device can read Modbus 16 bit registers (provided by the slave):<\/p>\n<p>0 &#8211; analog CONTROLLINO_A0 value (0 &#8211; 1024)<\/p>\n<p>1 &#8211; digital CONTROLLINO_D0 value (0\/1)<\/p>\n<p>2 &#8211; Modbus messages received<\/p>\n<p>3 &#8211; Modbus messages transmitted<\/p>\n<p>Modbus master device can write Modbus 16 bit registers:<\/p>\n<p>4 &#8211; relay CONTROLLINO_R0 (0\/1)<\/p>\n<p>5 &#8211; relay CONTROLLINO_R1 (0\/1)<\/p>\n<p>6 &#8211; relay CONTROLLINO_R2 (0\/1)<\/p>\n<p>7 &#8211; relay CONTROLLINO_R3 (0\/1)<\/p>\n<p>To easily evaluate this example you need a second CONTROLLINO as Modbus master running DemoModbusRTUMaster<\/p>\n<p>Example sketch.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that both CONTROLLINOs need 12\/24V external supply and you need to interconnect GND, -, + signals<\/p>\n<p>of RS485 screw terminal.<\/p>\n<p>Modbus Master-Slave library for Arduino (ModbusRtu.h) was taken from the website:<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/github.com\/smarmengol\/Modbus-Master-Slave-for-Arduino<\/p>\n<p>It was necessary to modify the setting of the PORTJ for pins DE and RE control.
