Introduction

The DCON Utility is s toolkits kits that help user search the network , easily to Configure the I/O modules and test the I/O status via the serial port (RS-232/485) or ethernet port (using virtual com port). It support not only the DCON Protocol I/O modules but also the M Series I/O Modules ( Modbus RTU M-7K,M-87K and will support Modbus ASCII M-87K) now.
 
 
The main function of DCON Utility are list below:

  • COM Port : Configuration and setting for PC COM Port
  • Search Network : Show modules on data bus

  • Run Monitoring : Utility will monitor network modules' I/O status every running cyde

  • Run Data Logger : Utility use customized parameter to monitor the I/O modules and will make a log file for I/O data.
  • Terminal : for some situation users would want to use command to test module's function diretly.
